REMINDER: Seniors are applying to college and completing their financial aid applications in Senior Seminar this month! Please remember to give your seniors your 2024 taxes (if available) so that their college counselor can help them with this process!
Campus Safety Update – Effective November 3
Beginning November 3, students displaying any signs of gang affiliation or paraphernalia will not be permitted on campus until the items are removed and a parent or guardian signs them in.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Bandanas of any kind
All-black clothing that is not YES Prep–branded
Black rosaries or similar items

As a campus, we are not seeking to accuse or target any student. Our goal is to be proactive in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for every member of our school community. This action follows an increase in observed gang-related behavior on campus, and we appreciate your partnership in keeping our school safe and focused on learning.
These actions are a violation of code of conduct and may result in further consequences up to but not limited to suspension.
The 26-27 Application is Open. Apply Now!
You have the opportunity to apply for next year 26-27 school year for YES Prep! If you would like to apply for a new student or sibling of a current student, please go to yesprep.schoolmint.com. If you need assistance, you can email me at ruth.mejia@yesprep.org.
Inform your friends, family members, and neighbors that they can apply and we can assist them in applying if they need help. They can also come to the office we are available from 9am-3pm.
And ask them about their college acceptances!
